Kununurra Leisure Centre can be found in Coolibah Drive Kununurra - just around the corner from the Visitor Information Centre. This centre caters for a variety of sports - swimming, gym and fitness, squash courts, Multi-purpose outdoor courts (netball, basketball and tennis), Beach Volleyball area beside the pool and a large hall that can be used for concerts, indoor basketball, gymnastics etc.
The garden and covered seating areas around the pool look very welcoming on a hot day to watch the kids playing in water of the adventure area. There is also a 25 metre lap pool which is partly shaded by sails. I am sure this place is very busy during summer and it is open every day - what a great facility in a small country town!
