Mirima National Park (Hidden Valley) is located on the outskirts of Kununurra in Western Australia. This is also known as the mini Bungle Bungles as the rock formations are a similar colour to those found in Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungles). A pay station is located at the entrance to the park to purchase your pass, or you can buy a yearly West Australian National Parks Pass at the Kununurra Visitor Information Centre. No camping is allowed in this National Park.
Three short walking trails are available within Mirima -
We did all of these walks during our morning visit to Mirima National Park - make sure you take water as the weather in this part of Australia can be quite hot and humid. This is a beautiful place containing 350 million year old sandstone with amazing colours that change as the sunlight varies during the day. We took lots of photos.
Mirima is the name given to the area by the local Miriuwung people and retains many sites of significance - please respect these National Parks and stay on the walking tracks provided.
