The Australian Caravan Club Limited
The Australian Caravan Club was launched in 2006 when a group of forward thinking caravanners saw a need for a truly representative national organisation to meet the wide variety of interests and needs of caravanners and camper-trailer owners.
After just a few years it became apparent that there was a need for representation for all owners of recreational vehicles and the Constitution was changed to include all RVs including caravans, camper-trailers, campervans, motorhomes, fifth-wheelers, etc. Besides social activities, the aims of the ACC include liaison with industry groups and lobbying of all tiers of government to further the cause of all Australian RVers.
Governed by a Board of Directors and with many dynamic committees looking after things like Member Benefits and Policy, the ACC has rapidly grown so that now there are more than forty branches spread through every State of Australia. These branches organise social events called ‘Musters’ and many take part in ‘Tagalong Tours’. Membership
Members of the ACC enjoy many benefits. They have access to a comprehensive website and members forum, enjoy a quarterly colour magazine, The Nomad, can attend branch musters anywhere in Australia, enjoy discounts from caravan parks and traders and can save with the ACC’s preferred Insurance Company. In addition they can stay without cost at FarmStays where members with spare land host travelling members for a night or two.
