Horseshoe Bay is the largest bay on Magnetic Island and a great place for water sports, horse riding, swimming or sunbathing on the beach. The whales swim past from July to September. The water is a magnificent colour and there a a number of cafes along the beach to sit and enjoy the view. We lunched at the Marlin Tavern and had a lovely table overlooking the bay. The food was good and the staff were happy. We could have spent a few days here, relaxing and soaking up the tropical atmosphere.
