Roma Bowling Club

It was only a short walk from our caravan site at the Villa Caravan Park on the Carnarvon Highway to the Roma Bowls Club (35 Lovell Street), so we decided to head out for a pre-dinner drink.

The walk was about one kilometre through residential streets backing onto the caravan park, and we found this most enjoyable after a day sitting in the car. The Club was almost empty on a week day afternoon, the bartender was friendly but more importantly the drinks were cheap. We sat outside overlooking the bowling green which was very pleasant, especially when two rainbows appeared above the trees - beautiful.
