Bakearoma is a great baker in the middle of Roma and despite the roadworks happening outside it was very well patronised. We stayed at the Big Rig Tourist Park which is only a short walk from Bakearoma where we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on our first morning in town. They say “when in Roma dine where the Romans Dine at BAKEAROMA” - interesting play on words.
Opening hours – Monday to Friday 5:30 am – 5:30 pm and Saturday or Sunday 5:30 am - 1:30 pm. Out meal was delicious and the place was very busy. There are lots of goodies for sale - huge range of breads, cakes, pies and sausage rolls. Meals are a reasonable price and generous sizes. Coffee was very good.
A couple of day later we headed back to Bakearoma for morning tea – coffee, apple pastry and sausage roll – Yum again.
Highly recommended as each time we visited we enjoyed friendly happy service and great food.
