Goondiwindi Walking Trail

A lovely bicycle/walking track has been created along the levy banks of the Macintyre River running through the town of Goondiwindi. This is a path about 4 kilometres in length with interpretive sings telling of the significance of this river to the area.  

A memorial statue of the racehorse Gunsynd sits near the river near the intersection of Gunsynd Way and Macintrye Streets. Along this sealed pathway are toilet blocks, picnic tables and lovely gardens - an enjoyable walk on a hot afternoon.
