There are three caravan parks in Goondiwindi, Queensland, as well as spaces available at the Goondiwindi Showground on Boundary Road (Leichhardt Highway) This is a very convenient spot for an overnight stay just over the border and close to four major highways.
It is not cheap but apparently cheaper than the other caravan parks. I understand the fee is about $25 per night and there is now a relatively new amenities block - three showers and two toilets for males and females plus disabled amenities.
The showground camping area has plenty of power and water taps - space for big rigs, buses and motor homes.
