We spotted this boat ramp from Chamberlain Lookout at the end of Kianinny Street What a great facility in a natural little harbour. We decided to take a closer look and headed back along Kianinny and followed the boat ramp sign.
They have used the natural harbour to great advantage and placed the boat ramp in a protect location for fishermen to safely launch their boats and head out to sea. Just beside the boat ramp is a wharf for fishing and plenty of parking spaces to leave the car and trailer.
Alongside another section of the car parking area are public toilets and picnic tables in park. Kangarutha Walking Track leads from this bay which is a fire trail loop around the historic Fords Farm area of Tathra. What a great spot!!
