Carnarvon Visitor Information Centre

The Carnarvon Visitor Information Centre is located in Robinson Street, Carnarvon right in the middle of town at the second roundabout. Plenty of parking for caravans and large vehicles is available behind the building. 

We always try to call into the visitor information centre when we arrive in a new place and collect information about the area. The shop was full of local products and some posters showing interesting facts about the food grown around Carnarvon. Pick up a brochure on the Gascoyne Food Trail and then head out and enjoy beautiful fresh fruit and vegetables purchased directly from the growers. RvTrips recommends that you visit Bumbak's and try one of their homemade icecreams (they also make great dried fruit straps).

One thing I noticed in the Visitor Information Centre was a list of caravan parks in the area, their facilities and accommodation prices - great idea. The staff are happy to provide booking service for accommodation, tours and buses, as well has stocking a great range of maps and brochures.

The Visitor Information Centre is also a ticketing agent for live shows and movies screened at the Civic Centre complex.
