Water Tower Lookout - Carnarvon

The Water Tower Lookout is located close to the Jetty Cafe at One Mile Jetty in Carnarvon. As the name suggests this lookout was once a water tank that has been changed into a viewing platform. I think it is well worth the climb to reach the top as you will be rewarded with 360 degree views of Carnarvon, One Mile Jetty and the ocean.

The water tank was once used by steam ships waiting at the Jetty and for watering livestock held in the yards for export on the ships. The tank is not much to look at from the outside as it is getting quite rusty but the views are great.
