You will find a Heritage Pies and Pastries outlet in Goolwa and Middleton on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia. We were advised by fellow travellers that we should try a pie from Heritage Pies and Pastries in Middleton on our way to the mouth of the Murray River.
This was very nice and we enjoyed a chunky beef pie and a vegetable pastie on the shaded verandah at the front of the shop. This Baker is housed in a lovely stone building on the main road through town - easy parking and very popular with the locals. They have a huge choice of homemade pies, breads, slices or cakes and cater for breakfast and lunch.
Heritage Pies and Pastries are open seven days a week from 6 am (check on opening times for Christmas Day and good Friday).
