Basham Beach Conservation Park is a regional park located near Port Elliot in South Australia. We accessed this park via the road leading to the Port Elliot Holiday Park where there are plenty of car parking spaces. Signs near the car parking area explain the walking tracks and recreational facilities in the conservation park. There are a number of interactive noticeboards at the entrance and public toilets are available.
Basham Beach Conservation Park is next to Fisherman Bay, about 6.46 kilometres long and 85 kilometres south of Adelaide. There are a number of walking trails leading to Sandy Bay and Basham Beach with warning signs to be aware of snakes - we made sure we stayed on the path. The Encounter Bikeway and Cockle Train line from Goolwa to Victor Harbor run along the edge of Basham Beach Conservation Park.
