Red Bluff Lookout is within Kalbarri National Park and is the highest elevated point in the area south of Kalbarri, with great views up and down the coast. Red Bluff Lookout overlooks Red Bluff beach which is very popular for swimming, snorkelling and fishing. There is a track from the lookout to the beach which is very steep and rocky or you can access the sand by parking at the end of Red Bluff Beach Road.
Red Bluff Lookout has great views of the Zuytdorp Cliffs to the north and is apparently the perfect vantage point for spotting dolphins and migrating humpback whales (from June to November). The lookout is about 500 metres from the car parking area along a very well maintained walking track. The contrasting natural colours in this part of Australia are quite fascinating - red cliffs, white sand and aqua blue water.
