Rail Trail Cafe - Porepunkah

During our recent stay in Porepunkah, Victoria we called into the Rail Trail Café for morning tea. What a great spot for coffee sitting in the gardens in the shade.

This is very popular with bike riders as it is only about 6 kilomeres from Bright on the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. In fact if you look above the cafe entrance you will see it is decorated with bike drink bottles – I guess some have been left behind. 

Lovely coffee and home made scone, jam and cream which was large enough to share.   The cafe serves all day breakfast, toasted sandwiches and a range of home-made cakes. I can highly recommend the freshly made scones.
