Injune is a small country town on the Carnarvon Highway - a great place to stop for coffee when travelling between Roma and Emerald. The streets are very wide and we easily found a spot to park the caravan before heading into the Visitor Information Centre. Injune is situated at the foothills of the Carnarvon Ranges; a part of the Great Dividing Range - beautiful scenery.
If you base yourself in Injune you will have easy access to four national parks in the area; Mt Moffatt, Carnarvon Gorge, Lonesome, and Beilba. These are on our adventure list for another trip.
We found great country hospitality at the Cafe on Second and the Visitor Information Centre. Unfortunately we found the diesel pump at the local Service Station a little difficult to access while towing a van.
