Sawtell Bowlo

The Sawtell Bowling and Recreation Club (Sawtell Bowlo) is located right next to the Sawtell Beach Caravan Park (and town swimming pool). This is our favourite place to meet for an afternoon drink or dinner while holidaying in the the area. Drink prices are very good and we have always been greeting warmly by the friendly staff working at the bar.

The Club has meat raffles a couple of nights a week and a poker machine area as well as a deck out the back for smokers. It is lovely and cool inside with comfortable seating and plenty of room.

Nelson's Chinese Restaurant is located within the club and it always seems to be busy. The food is good with a great variety and generous serves - we usually have a large group for dinner and the meals appear quickly with enough for everyone to share. 

Of course the Sawtell Bowlo has a number of bowling greens and each time we walked past there seemed to be a competition taking place - they even have twilight bowls during daylight saving.
