Bonville Headland can be found at the southern end of Sawtell Beach on the coast of NSW. This was a very popular spot during our last holiday at the Sawtell Beach Caravan Park with people heading up to the Bonville Lookout watching whales as they pass.
There are walking tracks as well as sealed roads to the Headland and Lookout which allows easy access. A public toilet is located in the parkland alongside the parking area. Sawtell Island sits off the coast near Bonville Headland and helping to reduce waves to the beach. Sawtell Beach is accessible from Bonville Headland and has sheltered rock pools as well as a boat ramp.
TIP - take some binoculars to get a better view of whales breaching out to sea.
