The Bookshop Cafe - Nambucca Heads

The Bookshop Cafe can be found at the corner of Bowra and Ridge Streets in Nambucca Heads - near the main shopping area. After walking up and down the street we decided to go into the Bookshop Cafe for morning tea - great choice.

Really friendly service with a large seating area on the covered verandah and plenty of tables, stools and chairs available inside among the interesting book collections. They have a huge range of old books and apparently the locals are encouraged to 'Browse, Borrow or Buy' from the collection. There are lots of old classics and the prices are written inside the front cover.

It was not hard to see why this place was so popular with the locals - great coffee and freshly baked goodies - we thoroughly enjoyed our blueberry and macadamia muffin (cooked that morning).  

This place has a really friendly, relaxed atmosphere and had some interesting items on the menu for lunch.

Highly recommended when you are next holidaying in Nambucca Heads, NSW.
