We stopped at MacCullochs Range Rest Area for morning tea - between Wilcannia and Cobar in NSW. This rest area has very good facilities - shaded children's playground, shaded picnic tables, plenty of garbage bins, sealed roads, plenty of shade and toilet facilities.
This rest area was overrun with goats who were sitting in every shaded spot they could find. It appeared that they were not bothered by humans as they did not move when you approached. Very interesting sight.
