The Vic Hotel - Bathurst

The Victoria Hotel, Bathurst, (or the VIC as it is known to locals) can be found on the corner of Keppel and Havannah Streets - just across the road from the Railway Station. We regularly go to the VIC for a meal with family and friends when we are visiting the beautiful and historic NSW country town of Bathurst - west of the Blue Mountains (Great Dividing Range).

This old country pub first opened its doors in 1876 and offers meals, accommodation, rooms for private functions, and an over the counter bottle shop - even freshly brewed coffee and cake. The Victoria Hotel is open seven days a week and has full TAB and KENO facilities with gaming machines near the restaurant area for the kids. They even have Happy Hour Monday to Friday from 4:30 pm -6 pm - all this with great country service and hospitality.

Counter meals are large with specials offered on various nights of the week - for example Wednesday is a schnitzel (Beef or Chicken) with choice of sauce, and Sunday is roast of the day. We have never been disappointed with a meal at the VIC - you order at the bar and the meal is delivered to your table.
