Bathurst Golf Club

This is a great country golf course in Bathurst, just off the Mitchell Highway as you head towards Orange in western NSW. I can remember playing here as a teenager when my father handed me a 5 iron and a putter and said off you go. That is all you need to play a round of golf isn't it?  

Bathurst Golf Course is an 18 hole championship course with superb grass greens and lush fairways as well as plenty of trees and bunkers to encourage straight shots. If you want to warm-up before playing there are two practice putting greens, two practice nets or a practice fairway. After the game you can sit in the Clubhouse to enjoy spectacular views over the course and the Blue Mountains while going over every shot with fellow golfers. 

The Club has a fully licensed bar with all popular beers and a range of local cool climate award winning wines - there is even a take-away service. Meals are served at the Birdie & Eagle Bistro which is open for lunch Monday - Saturday and dinner Wednesday - Saturday. Sunday lunch is AL Fresco from 11 am with the usual menu as well as wood fired pizzas while listening to live music. The Club also has a function room for weddings and special events.

We have run into many keen golfers while caravanning around Australia and I would highly recommend anyone visiting the central west of NSW to have a game at the Bathurst Golf Course.
