During our travels between Karratha and Exmouth in Western Australia we stopped to take a look at the Yannarie Rest Area - located beside the North West Coastal Highway. The Pilbara Regional Council have provided facilities along the highway to allow travellers to take a break from driving - there are often long distances between towns in Western Australia.
Yannarie Rest Area has a shaded picnic table (very welcome as there are not many trees), toilet facilities, garbage bins and dump points. There is plenty of open space to find a spot for the night.
