The Overlander Roadhouse is located at the junction of the North West Coastal Highway and the Denham-Hamelin Road (Shark Bay) in Western Australia - about 700 kilometres north of Perth. Telephone Number 08 9942 5916 and open most days from 7 am to 10 pm.
This is a very convenient place to stop and refuel, grab a cold drink or lunch before heading into Denham or Monkey Mia - the shop is very neat and tidy. The Overlander Roadhouse has cabin accommodation and caravan facilities as well as fresh water showers available to the public.
We called into the Roadhouse to refuel and eat lunch before driving to Denham and then again when we left Tamala Station (on road to Steep Point) to re-inflate the tyres after driving on dirt tracks. The toilets are in de-mountable type buildings but very clean and there are plenty of parking spaces around the Roadhouse to break from your journey - whether heading north to Carnarvon our south to Kalbarri.
