Naval Communication Station Harold E. Holt is located on the northwest coast of Australia, 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of the town of Exmouth, Western Australia. The town of Exmouth was built at the same time as the communications station to provide support to the base and to house dependent families of U.S. Navy personnel.© Wikipedia

The Harold E Holt Naval Communication Station can be found north of Exmouth in West Australia and has several sites along the peninsula. The pictures are of towers at Area A, at the very tip of the Cape, and apparently a key link for naval communications.
These communication towers have been constructed over a number of years - the highest is about 387 metres. You are able to walk around the non restricted areas which is open to the public and learn about the important role of this naval station during World War II. It was the base for communicating messages between Australian and American command centre's, their ships and submarines.
