Twilight Beach is west of Esperance along Twilight Beach Road and is one of the stops recommended on the Great Ocean Drive (Tourist Loop) - the map for this drive is available from the Visitor Information Centre.
This magnificent beaches was voted Number 1 beach in Australia in 2006 - just beautiful with granite boulders coming up out of the water. There is a lovely protected, safe swimming spot just below the headland. You will find public toilets and covered picnic tables adjacent to the car parking area for Twilight Beach. I highly recommend that you stop and enjoy this beautiful part of Western Australia - you will then be able to see why it was voted best beach.
