The first time we drove over the hill towards the Coral Bay Boat Ramp we were absolutely amazed at the beautiful colour of the water. It was so clear you could easily see the fish and even some turtles swimming around the boat launching area.
This is a very large facility with a number of boats anchored in the surrounding waters. Most of the snorkelling tours leave from here and there is a large car park adjacent to the ramp for buses and trailers. Public toilet facility sit at the top end of the car park, and there are a number of popular fishing spots along the shore. Information signs are posted along the edge of the walking tracks to inform you of areas available for recreational fishing.
This is a great facility in this very popular holiday destination.
