Swan Hill Visitor Information Centre

Whenever we visit a town for the first time we make it a point to call into the Visitor Information Centre for local advice on things to see and do as well as directions to accommodation. On arrive at Swan Hill in Victoria we found the Swan Hill Regional Information Centre near the railway station in the middle of town. There were convenient places to park with the caravan just a short distance away. 

This is a lovely centre staffed by friendly locals who gave us a collection of maps and guides to attractions and accommodation in town. This Visitor Information Centre sells local history books, postcards, clothing, souvenirs and goodies from the area such as:

• locally made beauty products
• produce
• olive oils, jams, etc
• Local wines
• Aboriginal souvenirs made by local aboriginal artists.

Staff at the Visitor Information Centre are happy to make bookings for local events and are open daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
