We were staying at the BIG4 Bright Holiday Park and decided to take a walk to look around this beautiful town in Victoria. First stop was the Ginger Baker Wine Bar and Cafe for morning tea. What a great location – next to water park and on the main road through town. This is a café and restaurant which is open from 8 am to 3 pm Sunday to Thursday and from 8 am to 9 pm Friday to Saturday.
There are tables outside overlooking the walking path and river in a lovely setting under large trees. Towards the front of the building you will find a log fires in outdoor areas facing the street which are lovely and warm. We had coffee (nice and hot but not huge) spicy ginger cake and chocolate fudge brownie with raspberries (delicious).
Nice service and great timber furniture.
