Rosalind Park is an Australian park in Bendigo, Victoria. Prior to white settlement, a grassy woodland surrounding what is now called Bendigo Creek. At that time the creek was little more than a chain of pools and billabongs. This area would have been an important source of food and water for the indigenous Dja Dja Wrung people living in dry central Victoria.© Wikipedia

Rosalind Park is a huge area in the Bendio CBD and sits behind the Visitor Information Centre located in the Old Post Office building on Pall Mall. This Park is extremely busy and has a number of buildings around the outside:
Unfortunately during our visit to Rosalind Park there were a large number of bats living in the area. They can be very noisy and quite smelly - luckily they seem to be congregating on one section.
This park has plenty of picnic spots and lots of shade trees. Paths crisscross the area and it makes for an interesting walk. I must say I was a bit surprised to see two big schools in the middle of town.
