Coober Pedy Golf Course

It is worth the drive to head out and take a look at the Coober Pedy Golf Course while staying in this mining town in the middle of South Australia.  I have never seen a course like this -  tee mounds consist of artificial grass squares and the fairway is dirt with black sand greens. 

This golf course is quite stark and I do not think you would want to use your good clubs, but what fun it would be to play a round of golf here. It was a bit hot during the day in November so next time we are in town we would love to play a few holes.
