NRMA Capricorn Yeppoon Holiday Park - Cabins

This park is located in the middle of suburbia in the small community of Mulambin just south of Yeppoon on the Queensland Coast.  What a great surprise as you drive along the entrance and see what a wonderful fun park for children.

This is extremely popular with families with a huge range of activities available -   large enclosed children’s play area including jumping pillow, a waterslide pool and a separate pool with spa (fully enclosed), large screen for outdoor movies, peddle cars for hire, TV/games room etc

To cater for families and groups there a a range of accommodation options at BIG4 Capricorn Palms Holiday Village and Josh, the Manager, was happy to give us access for photographs. Here are some of those available for holiday rental:

• Deluxe Villa – overlooking the pool area, a camp kitchen and bbq.  Plenty of grass out the front with car parking at the rear of the villa.  Two bedroom with a QB and 2 double bunks.  Separate toilet. Bench seats on front verandah with outdoor table. Big Kitchen which is well equipped and very clean. 
• The Lodge – wow we have never seen anything like this for a group - can cater for school visits. 
  Sleeps 24 people with 4 double bunks in each divided area.  Equipped with a disabled bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, plus another area with 3 showers (doors on each) and 2 toilets (door on each). This lodge has a back door to open for airflow and access to a small yard.
  Extra large kitchen with 2 fridges and large gas stove/oven.  A very long table in the dining area with stack-able chairs. The lounge room has 3 x futon style sofas (even more sleeping) and a large screen TV. Large verandah with table and seating for 6.  There is a ramp to the deck to cater for those travelling with disabilities.  

This is a large park with a huge overflow area out behind the last row of cabins.  The powered caravan sites around the park are separated by gardens containing palm trees for shade. The large amenities block sits in the centre of the park with garden lined walkways leading from each direction – this saves people walking through sites.  Great idea.  

The reception sells beer and wine at very reasonable prices.  A lovely looking park.
