The city of Longreach in outback Queensland has a very good daytime caravan parking area for visitors to town.  This area has angled sites for easy access and a convenient dump point. Garbage bins are provided and it is easy to turn around in this parking area when you are ready to head back onto the Landsborough Highway.

The Caravan Daytime Parking Spot is within walking distance to town and the Visitor Information Centre - safely off the main highway.

I thinks this is a great facility for caravanners.
