Eumundi is a small town in Queensland - about 22 kilometres from Noosa Heads. It is well known for the weekly markets held every Wednesday and Saturday attracting many visitors - lots of homemade products and interesting clothes. The town has a number of historical buildings, great restaurants and cafes as well as some interesting accommodation options - look under Sunshine Coast Hinterland accommodation to see options available (one example is The Mountain Retreat Beach House at Mount Cooroy which is just a short drive to the Sunshine Coast - a large home that can accommodate two families). I suggest you try the Eumundi Bakehouse for great pies - located on the main street.
Eumundi also has a range of art galleries, boutique wineries and local history museums - a really interesting place to spend some time. It can be very busy on market day so make sure you arrive early to find a good parking spot.
