The Central Highlands Marketplace in Emerald is located on Codenwarra Road - just off the Capricorn Highway as you enter town. As with a number of shopping centres in Queensland shades are provided in the car parking area - it can be very hot in the middle of summer.
The Marketplace has a range of shops including supermarket, chemist, cafes, clothes shops, jewellers, BIGW etc. Air-conditioned and very comfortable inside. It is also within walking distance of the Emerald Cabin and Caravan Village and the free camping area alongside the Emerald Botanical Gardens.
