The Railway Hotel is one of the five pubs in the small country town of Barcaldine. The drive in bottle shop is located next to the Railway Hotel and the staff are really friendly.
We had a drink at this hotel while having a lovely chat with the owner, and apparently this place has been rebuilt several times due to fire damage. Check out for the clock on the wall - all the numbers are '5'. After all it must be 5 o'clock somewhere in the world and time for a beer.
