The Oodnadatta Track, Australia is an unsealed 620 km (385 mi) outback road between Marree and Marla via Oodnadatta in South Australia. Along the way, the track passes the southern lake of the Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre National Park, and the outback settlements of William Creek and Oodnadatta.© Wikipedia
We couldn't resist driving our caravan onto the start of this iconic 4WD track at Marla in South Australia. As you can see from the photos there are numerous signs about the condition of the road and restrictions that apply when travelling on this outback track. I particularly like the sign that says "Belt Up Before Someone Dies" – I thought that was pretty clear.
We also looked at another part of the track when we visited Roxby Downs near Woomera where you travel on parts of the Olympic Dam Mine Lease. We plan to take this adventure one day and call into the the famous Oodnadatta Pub.
