Longyard Hotel - Tamworth

The Longyard Hotel is a large building behind the Tamworth Visitor Information Centre and Golden Guitar - just off the New England Highway. 

We called in to have a look and enjoy a cold beer one Sunday afternoon and the place was very busy.  They had live music being played on the covered verandah and tables were packed in this part of the pub with people enjoying the afternoon's entertainment.

The Longyard Hotel have daily meal special and an enclosed children’s playground alongside the beer garden - out back. This was very busy with family groups enjoying an afternoon out. 

There are plenty of car parking spaces and a bottle shop.  My only criticism is that they serve a very small amount of wine in a huge wine glass.
