Heatherbrae is a very busy industrial/commercial centre on the Pacific Highway near Raymond Terrace. It is located close to Newcastle and I understand is part of the Port Stephens local government area. It is usually very busy with a number of large outlets selling things like - boats, caravans & Camper-Trailers, golf carts, furniture, water tanks, sheds (steel fabrication), building materials etc.
It is also a very popular place to take a break when travelling along the Pacific Highway - located about two hours north of Sydney - several service stations, McDonalds, Heatherbrae Pies, KFC, Subway and Sandy's Famous Seafood (Fish and Chips) are a few of the food outlets to be found at Heatherbrae.
Don't worry there are plenty of places to park when towing a caravan.
