The 'Windmill Walk' is a pathway that runs along the banks of the Castlereagh River from the Gilgandra Visitor Information Centre towards the town centre. Windmills from the local area are displayed along this lovely shaded walking path - they are well signposted and you are able to read about their importance to the area.

We found this a wonderful way to spend some time after lunch before continuing our trip in the car.
