You will travel through Mabel Downs station when heading into Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungles). Remember when in the outback - if you need to open a gate to enter then close it again after you have driven through. We came across several herds of cattle (with calves) when we were travelling through Mabel Downs Station - please drive carefully.
The Bungle Bungles Caravan Park is located on the Station at the junction of the Great Northern Highway and the road into National Park.
