Edaggee Rest Area

Edaggee Rest Area is about 82 kilometres south of Carnarvon on the North West Coastal Highway, Western Australia. This is a well appointed rest stop that allows an overnight stay (24 hour limit) with plenty of places for privacy. The toilet has wheelchair access and the picnic tables are covered for shade. There are a number of garbage bins located around the Rest Area and even a great little container cut out to enable the birdlife access to some water. Apparently that a a number of interesting birds in the bush surrounding the Rest Area - look up and  you may see and eagle's nest. They have provided a dump point and barbeque places for the use of overnight visitors.

The Edaggee Rest Area is large enough to cater for big rigs with all sites being drive-through. Dogs are allowed and you will need to bring you own water.
