Yardie Homestead Caravan Park - Cape Range NP

Yardie Homestead Caravan Park is located just 26 kilometres from Exmouth as you head along Yardie Creek Road - just before the paying station for Cape Range National Park. We spent a week holidaying in the area and there are plenty of things to do - bush walking, snorkelling, swimming, fishing, tours of Ningaloor Reef etc.

We called in to Yardie Homestead Caravan Park to have a look around and enjoy in ice cream from their reception area which also sells groceries ice, bait and fishing necessities. The homestead has ranges on one side and beautiful coast on the other - a fairly special place. 

Facilities include:

• shady camping sites - powered and un-powered 
• self contained chalets, cabins and shearers quarters 
• kayak and snorkelling equipment for hire
• barbeques
• space to park the boat - Tantabiddi Boat Ramp is close by
• tennis court
• swimming pool
• camp kitchen
• dogs allowed - I do not think they are allowed in the Cape Range National Park

Note: Yardie Homesead generate their own power - contact them to see what electrical items cannot be used. We found the people to be really friendly with tips on places to visit, tours and fishing spots.

We would not hesitate to stay her on our next trip to West Australia.
