Bogong is a small village found halfway between Mount Beauty and Falls Creek on the Bogong High Plains Road in Victoria. Bogong Village is a very quiet place surrounded by the Alpine National Park and overlooks Lake Guy.
It was originally built for workers on the Kiewa Hydro Electric Scheme, and a small visitor information centre can be found at the Power Station - follow the signs from Main Street. I think they also run tours of the hydro power station.
