We called in to look at Port Broughton which is at the upper end of the Yorke Peninsula - on the west coast facing Spencer Gulf. This is a lovely holiday destination with a large caravan park located on a safe swimming beach, and walking distance to a range of seafood outlets. The Port Broughton Caravan Park has a huge range of activities for the children and some deluxe cabins overlooking the magnificent sunsets over the water.
Beautiful palms trees line the foreshore parkland of this small town with a population of about 3000 people. An historic jetty stretches into the water and this is a very popular spot for holiday makers to try their luck at fishing. Port Broughton has an abundance of seafood and is known for large snapper.
