Ingomar Rest Area is located on the Stuart Highway about 90 kilometres south of Coober Pedy, and 290 kilometres north of the Woomera turnoff. It is a large gravel area with plenty of room for parking while towing a caravan. There are shaded picnic tables, information boards, garbage bins and toilet facilities. The lights are solar powered and an emergency water tank is provided. It is recommended that you boil unknown tank water before drinking.
A very convenient place to stop and easy to access when travelling either north or south - set back from the road.
