Frosty Mango - Townsville

Frosty Mango is a large cafe/restaurant specialising in ice cream on the Bruce Highway - about 70 kilometres north of Townsville and 40 kilometres south of Ingham.

We stopped hoping to have - you guessed it - some frozen mango. They make ice cream here so chose a diabetic Mango ice cream (no added sugar but they do add stevia) and a ginger ice cream. Both were tasty but the ginger ice cream was very sweet. This stop also has a cafe, display of tourist brochures and clean toilets.

Fruit trees planted out the back of the building are clearly labelled so you can see what each type of fruit looks like when growing. 

There are plenty of spaces for parking with the caravan. Big signs let you know when you are about to reach Frosty Mango – a commercial outlet. I guarantee you will not miss it.
