Cape Trib Beach House - Cape Tribulation

During our adventure in the Daintree National Park we headed to Cape Trib Beach House for lunch at the Tides Bar and Restaurant. Parking is near reception and then walk down the path to the restaurant near the beach.

Along the path leading to the restaurant we noticed a range of accommodation in this beautiful rainforest setting right on the beach –

• dorm style with doors opening onto a covered seating area in the centre - amenities nearby
• beach front accommodation
• family bungalows
• villas

A pool is located beside restaurant which is great for the kids. Lovely friendly service and very nice meal. Grilled barramundi with chips and salad, plus Cajun chicken wrap with chips and salad.

After lunch we walked to the beach. The sign across the walkway said Beach Closed – Crocodile sighting. We understood this to mean no swimming so we walked onto the beach to take photos of cape Tribulation - keeping a very close eye on our surroundings.
