The cabins at the BIG4 Cairns Coconut Resort need to be seen to be believed. Kim, the Manager of this award winning park gave us keys to several different types of cabins which were all beautifully clean and well equipped:
There are such a huge range of cabins at the Coconut Resort that there is definitely something to suit everyone. One of the interesting little features on the decks of each cabin is a towel rail placed inside the balconies which allows pool towels to be hung out to dry without being an eyesore. As a mother I notice these little extras and I think this is a great idea.
The activities at this BIG4 are numerous and include a Gym, jumping pillows, water park, pools, children's playground, mini golf, tennis courts, movies etc. It is amazingly neat and tidy and the maintenance staff are constantly working around the gardens making sure everything is neat, tidy and safe (no falling palm fronds). You really need to visit this park to see everything that is on offer for guests.
Thursday is Pancake morning and the BIG4 supplies a breakfast by the pool – you bring your own plate cutlery and mug for tea or coffee.
