Bororen is a small community about 50 kilometres south of Gladstone, Queensland. It is quite well known for its cattle and timber industries - as you can see from the photos there are outlets selling hard wood products - you may even get to see the local woodsmith at work.
The town has a caravan park, hotel/motel and a range of services including cafes/restaurants, bait, ice, takeaway, and fuel outlets. Bororen has rest areas with toilets, barbeque facilities and plenty of shade.
